Every since I started on a gluten free diet 3 years ago one of the things I've missed the most and have craved the most is a good GF hamburger served on a GF good bun. Well, I'm sorry to report I didn't find it at Create Cafe. What I found instead was an great GF hamburger on a GF bun at a very reasonable price. I had lunch there on Friday, July 8, with the SACS lunch bunch. Everyone was excited to have gf burgers and sandwiches on gf buns and bread. Create Cafe goes to great lengths to ensure all their gf items are prepared without any cross contamination. They have dedicated utensils, cutting boards, even the plates, forks and knives for the customers are cleaned and stored separately. Anyway, back to the burger, it was juicy and had a great flavor. I had mine with the works, grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon (nitrate free) and cheese. All the burgers come with lettuce and tomatoes. It was more than my bun could handle, but I didn't care, I was in burger heaven. Finally, after waiting 3 years I found me new home for a GREAT burger on a bun. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
