Description:
The Community Performing Arts Center is located in Green Valley, Arizona and owned by Pima County while operated by the Community Performing Arts Center Foundation. The public interest that guided the building of the Performing Arts Center began in the late 1980s with the formation of a partnership between the greater Green Valley community and the Foundation. Together, we maintain the facilities, continuously enhance it and fill its theaters with spectacular events. The newest addition (Phase II) of the Performing Arts Center was completed in January 2009.
The Community Performing Arts Center Foundation presents events; rents the facilities to area arts organizations and touring shows; and rents to the public for a variety of activities, including private receptions, meetings and seminars.
A magnificent, comfortable setting, a knowledgeable staff and superb entertainment create the gratifying experience that audiences and performers enjoy when they visit the Jewel of the Desert at the Community Performing Arts Center.
