Zivaz Mexican Bistro has opened for business at 4590 E. Broadway. The restaurant serves family recipes, handed down from generation to generation, recipes that put a new twist on Mexican cuisine.

No city knows and loves its Mexican food like Tucson. When we first considered opening Zivaz, we knew we would have tough competition, but we wanted to share the flavors of our family. Youll find the traditional dishes from carne asada to cheese enchiladas, but youll also find the blend of flavors that made my mothers, and my grandmothers, meals so delightful, said Felipe Valenzuela, managing partner.

Type of Meals Served:

Zivaz offers a wide variety of dishes. "We love mole and carnitas and chipotle sauce, but those flavors are just the beginning of the foods we experienced in our home. For example, one of my personal favorites is Milanesa de Berengena, a breaded eggplant served with 'Mexican style,'" Valenzuela continued.
In addition to restaurant dining, Zivaz offers take-out and catering.
